Introduction -
Hi, I’m Martin Neary. I am a clinical hypnotherapist, based in Buckhurst Hill, Essex in the United Kingdom.
Hypnotherapy is not just my profession it is my passion.
I am a member of the Irish Hypnotherapy Association, Ireland's leading association in this field and I received my diploma from the Hypnosis Academy. I am also a member of the British Institute of Hypnotherapy and approved by the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council or CNHC
As well as clinical hypnotherapy, I completed an intensive short course of medical hypnotherapy last year with Dr John Butler. This entailed working with physical symptoms such as asthma, eczema, warts, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine and many other types of pain and illness many of which can be attributable to stress or other psychological causes.
Medical hypnosis is also widely used to help with fear of dentists and medical procedures such as fear of needles and can also help reduce pain and the anticipation of pain. Preparation under hypnosis may also help reduce recovery time after a surgical procedure.
As more research is being done in the field of cellular memory, it is becoming increasingly obvious that many pains and symptoms around the body can be linked to past trauma and can be greatly relieved with the use of regression hypnosis combined with medical hypnoytherapy.
