Self Esteem Hypnosis
Most people would understand both self-confidence and self-esteem to mean the same thing, when there is actually a difference. Although they are both similar, someone who is confident can also lack self-esteem. Celebrities are a great example- they can appear to be the most confident of people when in the public eye, but otherwise, have a nagging issue with contentment. Hypnotherapy will help you to develop a healthy perception of your sense of worth in the world.
How important is Self Esteem?
Low self-esteem is sadly a very normal thing nowadays. Many people live their lives comparing themselves to those around them, and they lose appreciation for their value as an individual within society.
A common definition is a “personal estimate”. Placing a low estimate on yourself will create a strain in the main areas of your life, such as relationships and work. It is common to experience both highs and lows depending upon personal circumstances. For example, you may lose your job, which would then cause you to doubt your ability, but then you may begin a different job that is more suited to your needs.
If you find yourself constantly feeling down and critical of yourself, depressed, or continually lacking in motivation then you are most likely experiencing chronic levels of low self-esteem. It is important that you seek to change the way you perceive yourself, as this can create a giant hurdle that you have to face every day of your life.
Increase Confidence Levels
Many factors cause loss of confidence issues, including the following:
- Your family and early childhood experience have played a big part in your natural persona.
- How we react to other people/ the way that we take things personally, is also a good indicator.
As a person grows into adulthood, experiences will continue to shape the way that they perceive themselves, negative or positive. Self-confidence is something that cannot be ‘given’, but you can learn, and that is where hypnotherapy comes in.
Hypnosis targets the hidden issues behind why you perceive yourself in the way that you do, and you will find these answers engrained in your subconscious. Creating healthier thought patterns, re-building your morals, and addressing your beliefs, will combine to result in a huge increase in your confidence levels.
